Dr. Joseph P. Clawson MD

Dr. Joseph Clawson, 78 years old, is a retired, reconstructive surgeon from Longview, Washington. He completed medical school in 1957 at the University of Colorado, going on to completed two specialties: one in general surgery and the second in Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic surgery at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in both fields. Dr. Clawson had a private practice in Longview, Washington for 20 years. After retiring, Dr. Clawson founded Operation of Hope and has directed past medical missions. Known as the "Doctor of The Poor", after 23 years of service with Operation of Hope, Dr. Joseph Clawson has stepped down from an active role with Operation of Hope.
