Founder and Executive DirectorDr. Joseph P. Clawson MDDr. Joseph Clawson is a retired, reconstructive surgeon from Longview, Washington. He completed medical school in 1957 at the University of Colorado, going on to completed two specialties: one in general surgery and the second in Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic surgery at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in both fields. Dr. Clawson had a private practice in Longview, Washington for 20 years. After retiring, Dr. Clawson founded Operation of Hope and has been directing annual volunteer medical missions for the past 18 years. |

Executive DirectorJennifer TrubenbachBased in Lake Forest, California, Jennifer's previous career spanned more than 20 years in the corporate field; as a consultant to a Fortune 10 company, a flight attendant/trainer, and a corporate trainer. She holds a Masters in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University. Jennifer manages all of Operation of Hope's public speaking engagements, fundraising efforts, surgical supply inventories, travel coordinations, volunteer staff, as well as arranging for passports and fulfilling all legal requirements. |

Executive Marketing DirectorStephen ClawsonStephen Clawson is President and Creative Director for a Portland, Oregon based Marketing and Publishing Agency. Stephen graduated from the University of Oregon in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Fine and Applied Arts. Stephen creates, manages and produces all marketing material as it relates to Operation of Hope's fundraising and media needs. |

Board of DirectorsTed TrubenbachTed Trubenbach, a licensed Marriage, Family, Child Therapist has had a private practice in Santa Ana, California for the past 20 years. He has a Masters in Psychology from Chapman University and is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University. An avid road bike rider, Ted enjoys participating in various bike events throughout California and has volunteered in Zimbabwe. Africa as a member of the Operation of Hope team. |

Advisory Board MemberDr. Travis Tollefson, MDDr. Travis Tollefson, a native from Kansas, is the Associate Medical Director for Operation of Hope. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, his post-graduate degree in Neuroscience and a Medical Degree, from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. A General Surgery Internship was completed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and a Medical Residency, at the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He has joined the Operation of Hope team for five missions, and will be going to Zimbabwe this fall. Currently, Dr. Tollefson is the Assistant Professor of Otolarynogology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of California, Davis. |

Publicist and Public Relations ConsultantAdvisory Board MemberAndrea SimsLion's Share Communications, Inc.Andrea Sims is the Founder of Lion's Share Communications, Inc., a global event and public relations firm that she founded in 1989. Ms. Sims was named by Forbes magazine in 2006 as one of the "World's Hottest Event Planners." Andrea has more than 25 years of diverse experience and a very successful career track record for managing high-profile events, including A-list celebrity galas, award shows, tournaments and in producing television and film projects. Having grown up in southern California with a father who was an entertainment industry executive, her extensive professional connections, in many cases, grew out of her earliest personal relationships. Andrea and her staff have built a strong reputation for pragmatically coordinating all facets required for successful event execution and media coverage. She has worked in partnership with many prominent organizations, including Operation of Hope, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Carousel of Hope Beverly Hills, Mercy Ships and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A highly visible industry presence, Andrea served as a Board Member and the former President of Women in Film and Video, an international association with over 10,000 members. Andrea brings unmatched expertise to all facets of successful event execution and media coverage. She has a proven ability to attract local, regional, national, and international media coverage! |

Advisory Board MemberAnn SalernoCCMC Inc.Ann Salerno is the primary stockholder and runs the day to day operations of CCMC Inc., an international training and development company with offices in metro Washington, DC and Durban, South Africa. CCMC Inc. is the home of The Change Cycle Series product line. A frequent guest of airports, Ann is an internationally known trainer and consultant who has guided people and their organizations through change in places as far apart as New Delhi, Warsaw, London, Cape Town, and Ottawa. Her time is unequally divided between developing new products, providing corporate trainings, speaking at various conferences nd serving on several annual executive faculties. Following graduate work in public administration, she began her business career in management at General Mills, gaining recognition early on for her managing and innovative leadership skills. Named a Master Speaker and Trainer by Citizens Against Crime, Inc., she went on to build her successful career in corporate training and organizational change, working with organizations and Fortune 500 companies ranging from the U.S. State Department, the CIA, and the Canadian government to Honeywell, AMGEN, the GAP, the NCAA, and American Express. Heralded for her ability to communicate change success strategies in entertaining, practical, and accessible ways, Ann has attended The Josephson Institute's Organizational Ethics Program, is a member of The WinStar Foundation's development team, and serves on the board of directors for Operation of Hope. Board of DirectorsDr. Stephen Pauley, MD.Dr. Pauley received his medical degree at the Medical School Columbia Univ. College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1962 and has since retired as Board Certified Otolaryngology, Head & Neck surgeon in Los Angeles. Dr. Pauley currently serves on several Boards as President of the Edwin W. Pauley Foundation and Vice President of Operation of Hope as well as a past Board member of Idaho Rivers United-active in the prevention of salmon extinction on the Columbia-Snake rivers and a Board member for the Center for a Sustainable Future in Honolulu, Hawaii. This project is dedicated to improving the coastal environment of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. He and his wife, Marylyn have been married for 45 years and have two sons and four granddaughters and they currently live in Sun Valley, Idaho. |
